Death Certificates

People have claimed that there are no death certificates for the people who were killed at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. Many people also state that the individuals are not listed in the Social Security Death Index (SSDI). However, they are listed. Death certificates, despite the ludicrous claims, are NOT public records and for the most part, never have been. The same state policies also apply to birth certificates; they are not public records but are available on a restricted basis. The majority of the states have restrictions on who may obtain death records. Just click on the following links for the state in which you are interested. One may order death certificates for the SH victims but those certificates will not contain the social security numbers.
