We are also relatively unaware of the numerous deep-pocketed, big business-associated foundations and lobby organizations whose massive funding actually shapes our domestic and foreign policies. There are also government entities, like the Supreme Court, that create situations, like abortion, which generates mass response. Activist groups target clinics and doctors who perform abortions. Activists have even killed a few doctors to prevent them from performing abortions. Hey, it was the government who said it was okay to take the life of pre-born infants. You know – that same representative (?) government whose members swore to abide by the constitution and protect the life, liberty and property of its citizens.
Individuals and governments have a limited stewardship or areas of responsibility. At least that is the way it was designed to operate. As an individual, I do not have the stewardship or authority to go to my gay neighbors, if I have any, and tell them how to behave. That is their business, not mine. I do not have the power. Personal moral decisions are personal! If I do not personally possess that power, I cannot legitimately give it to the government, that artificial entity created by the citizens to represent our interests and follow the Constitution, the law of the land. Citizens can only empower the government to do what they themselves have the power to do. When government oversteps those established parameters, it becomes a dictatorship or a theocracy exercising unrighteous dominion over the populace.
Obviously, if the government passes questionable laws that arouse the citizen’s moral outrage, it produces groups of activists who respond and act quite predictably. It is human nature for good, well-intentioned people to take action against moral injustice and problematic behavior. Believe it or not, this has all been orchestrated according to a very deliberate, satanical scheme designed to strip everyone of their liberties, resources and property! If the government can focus our attention on what our neighbors are doing, we will not question what the government is doing. I might add that they are acting in our name. We share the responsibility. Naturally, they want to keep us all ignorant and busy with the mundane.
Currently there is a large, influential activist group, the American Family Association, telling us not to shop at Sam’s Club or Wal-mart on Friday and Saturday. I just received an email alert that states: “Please help us get this information into the hands of as many people as possible by forwarding it to your entire email list of family and friends.” … “Send A Message To Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, Don't Shop With Them This Friday Or Saturday.” The reason – these stores are apparently tolerant of the homosexual agenda – whatever that is. Please, don’t bother emailing me about homosexual decadence. It exists; it has always existed; and it will always exist. You can’t change that and neither can I. We only have the power to change our own behavior. We have minimal influence over others – just ask any parent! (American Family Association called off their boycott on November 22, 2006)
Even if this campaign were moderately successful, the shoppers would come out in droves following the boycott. After all, the day after Thanksgiving is one of the biggest shopping days for Christmas when we can buy all of those great mass-produced toys without ever wondering who made them. We all want to have just the right gift to celebrate the birth of Christ. Really folks, isn’t there a better way?
Shopping at Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club is really about saving money – a dwindling, inflated currency worth less and less. Americans are impacted by inflation – caused by government and trade imbalances – not by homosexuals. If you want to boycott Sam’s Club and Wal-Mart, do so! But do it for genuine reasons – not some trumped-up issue that administration-friendly groups devised to keep you distracted. Homosexuals have not shattered our economy and inflated our currency to the point that many depend on cheaper goods. Homosexuals are not amassing at our southern border to take your job. If the government has its way – soon the masses will all be shopping for even-cheaper, substandard, slave-wage produced goods at the “company store” and private enterprise will have vanished. We will all be slaves then!
I have never been a Wal-Mart supporter with their made in China products. In my previous occupation, I witnessed the orchestrated demise of numerous small family businesses in the midwest which drastically impacted the economic stability of dozens of small communities which, in turn, has affected America’s stability. Additionally, Wal-Mart has influenced American production and manufacturing which means a major loss of employment and the end of the middle class. I never go to Wal-Mart for that reason. Government officials, on the take, facilitated this monopolistic giant.
The elitist government, along with their phony, unconstitutional trade agreements, is the real culprit in the assault on middle class America. With their post-election congressional pay raises, and their healthy pensions, they don’t worry about saving money or shopping at Wal-Mart. Big business tycoons, including Wal-Mart, are the biggest contributors to the elitists currently managing the masses. They don’t practice frugality. And they obviously have absolutely no concern about the individuals, often children, who make the products that generate their vast multi million dollar fortunes.
“Wal-Mart is the world’s biggest corporation, raking in $220 billion a year (bigger than the GDP of Israel and Ireland combined). Of the 20 richest people in the world, five are Waltons – the family that owns Wal-Mart. Their average employee – and Wal-Mart employs more people than any other company on earth – makes $15,000 a year, and most have zero health benefits.” Boycotting the American Wal-Marts for two days will not even put a dent in their finances fortunes. It would merely function as an exercise in futility on our part.
There is an enormous, deliberate class distinction between the “haves” and the “have nots” and that is just the way they planned it. Gays and lesbians are not responsible for a dwindling economy! Focus on the real culprits for the crucial issues in your life. It is really all about money – yours – going from your wallet into the already thick wallets of big business and their congressional buddies.
