The personal study of history is important in that we may gain accurate perception, acknowledge current trends, and define potential problematic directions. We cannot recognize where we are going unless we know where, who and what we have been. We slowly metastasized from an isolationist Christian nation that respected the rights to self government for ourselves and for the citizens of other countries into a greedy globalist empire at the cost of our principles; we have changed from righteous to self-righteous.
Members of Congress, from both parties, fail to uphold their oaths to God, the people and the Constitution. Our freedoms continue to evaporate as the parties contend with each other while we are left to question who our “selected” representatives actually represent. At one time party platforms reflected strong attitudes and ideals based on what was good for all Americans rather than a select few. “We assert that no nation can long endure half republic and half empire, and we warn the American people that imperialism abroad will lead quickly and inevitably to despotism at home....
“We are in favor of extending the Republic's influence among the nations, but we believe that that influence should be extended not by force and violence, but through the persuasive power of a high and honorable example.” Democratic Party Platform of 1900
Independent Americans were content to mind their own business and requested that other countries honor that same policy. There was a series of neutrality acts passed before World War Two that kept America neutral and out of most foreign wars and the affairs of other countries. <![if !supportFootnotes]> [i]<![endif]> However, the machinations, the munitions and bloodshed of war produce substantial additional wealth for the elite international financiers as they collect on their high interest loans to the governments of warring countries, often on both sides of the conflict. In addition there are war spoils <![if !supportFootnotes]> [ii]<![endif]> for well connected corporations. This focused veneration on filthy lucre eliminates all compassion, concern or love for the masses. While the elite enlarge their coffers, troops are miserably squandered as battlefield carnage as society struggles to compensate, through taxation, for their government’s treacherous folly.
Government programs always require the confiscation of taxpayer money or the borrowing of high interest money to operate. War is the biggest government program of all. The citizens, wanting to feel safer, support and acquiesce out of fear, propagated by the elite owned media. Freedom loving Americans, spurred by designed patriotism, readily relinquish their lives and their essential “Bill of Rights” liberties for promised security against our contrived enemies. Benjamin Franklin said: “They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759
Major money and endeavors are expended to assist the citizens toward lending their support to war efforts. In 2002 the Project for a New American Century (PNAC) created a spin-off organization called the “Committee for the Liberation of Iraq”. They were armed with big public relations money and were determined to educate the public on the benefits of removing Saddam Hussein and replacing him with someone like Ahmed Chalabi head of the INC, a very loose coalition of Iraqi dissidents and opposition groups. “In 1998, Scheunemann, who was then working for Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott <![if !supportFootnotes]> [iii]<![endif]> (not a member of CFR, replaced in 2003 by CFR member Bill Frist), drafted the “Iraq Liberation Act” that authorized 98 million dollars for the INC, only a fraction of which was spent by the Clinton administration.” <![if !supportFootnotes]> [iv]<![endif]> The Pentagon took control of the bulk of the unspent funds in 2002 to begin training various INC factions to implement regime change. The “Committee for the Liberation of Iraq” is just one of the many neoconservative front organizations formed over the last few decades in an effort to influence foreign policy by manipulating the masses. <![if !supportFootnotes]> [v]<![endif]>
War is rarely, if ever, waged to spread democracy, prevent aggression against America, stem the tide of communism, Nazism, or any other elite funded ism, or rescue foreign citizens from their despotic governments. War is always about money and power or resource seizures. The military complex and construction industry reap the wealth of destruction and reconstruction. <![if !supportFootnotes]> [vi]<![endif]> “That there are men in all countries who get their living by war, and by keeping up the quarrels of nations, is as shocking as it is true; but when those who are concerned in the government of a country, make it their study to sow discord, and cultivate prejudices between nations, it becomes the more unpardonable.” Thomas Paine, “The Rights of Man”, circa 1792
Between presidential directives and the creation of the National Security Council, Congress was gradually deprived and/or relinquished their legitimate responsibilities as power was unconstitutionally transferred to the executive branch and those elite confidantes cloistered around them. “The National Security Act, establishing the National Security Council (NSC), the Central Intelligence Agency, and the National Security Resources Board, was approved by Congress on 25 July 1947 and signed by President Truman the following day.” <![if !supportFootnotes]> [vii]<![endif]>
The Truman Administration authorized the National Security Council to begin “peacetime covert action operations”. NSC 4-A dated December 1947 “made the Director of Central Intelligence responsible for psychological warfare, establishing at the same time the principle that covert action was an exclusively Executive Branch function.” <![if !supportFootnotes]> [viii]<![endif]> On 1 September 1948 the Office of Policy Coordination was established under the auspices of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). The Office of Policy Coordination, “in accordance with NSC 10/2, assumed responsibility for organizing and managing covert actions.” The CIA had “unvouchered funds, by which operations could be funded with minimal risk of exposure in Washington.” <![if !supportFootnotes]> [ix]<![endif]>
The type of clandestine activities enumerated under the new directive included: “propaganda; economic warfare; preventive direct action, including sabotage, demolition and evacuation measures; subversion against hostile states, including assistance to underground resistance movements, guerrillas and refugee liberation groups, and support of indigenous anti-Communist elements in threatened countries of the free world. Such operations should not include armed conflict by recognized military forces, espionage, counter-espionage, and cover and deception for military operations.” <![if !supportFootnotes]> [x]<![endif]> An anti-Communist could be anyone left of center and often includes educators and other in influential positions.
Since the creation of the United Nations plus the National Security Council the United States has been embroiled in one conflict after another throughout the world. As a United Nations member we perform military service under their jurisdiction and their unlawful treaty rather than our Constitution which confers war powers exclusively to Congress. (Article I, Section 8). The last time Congress actually declared war was on 11 December 1941 against Germany, three days after they declared war against Japan. The United Nations Charter usurped the Constitution without a negative response from security-seeking voters. Because it was not ratified by those who are to be governed, it is illegitimate. It was presented to the United States Senate, without a paper copy, and signed by a majority of senators who previously swore an oath to the Constitution of the United States. These officials had no authority, according to the constitution, to bind us to the terms in the United Nations charter. <![if !supportFootnotes]> [xi]<![endif]>
Our UN responsibility is not well recognized by the electorate but is certainly a fact: Vice President Al Gore traveled to Marrakech, Morocco, in April 1994 for the signing of the new world trade agreement. (It is another U.S. destabilization apparatus.) Gore appeared hours after U.S. planes, enforcing an allied 'no fly' zone over northern Iraq, accidentally shot down two U.S. helicopters, killing 15 Americans and 11 foreign officials. He said: “I want to extend condolences to the families of those who died in the service of the United Nations.” (Los Angeles Times, 6/12/94)
No regard was shown for the troop supplying constituency when Congress abdicated or transferred their decision making powers to the UN and to the executive branch. Our troops have been, and are engaged all over the globe in some degree of “might-makes-right”, no-win, unconstitutional warfare and will be in the future. The target countries posed no threat to our national security despite government claims. They were weak non aggressive third world countries with no armies or navies. The countries include: Greece 1947-1949, Philippines 1948-1954, Puerto Rico 1950, Korea 1950-1953, Iran 1953, Guatemala 1954, Lebanon 1958, Panama 1958, Vietnam 1960-1975, Cuba 1961, Cuba 1962, Laos 1962, Panama 1964, Indonesia 1965, Dominican Republic 1965- 1966, Guatemala 1966-1967, Cambodia 1969-1975, Oman 1970, Laos 1971-1973, Chile 1973, Angola 1976-1992, Nicaragua 1981-1990, Lebanon 1982-1984, Libya 1986, Bolivia 1986, Iran 1987-1988, Philippines 1989, Panama 1989-1990, Saudi Arabia 1990-1991, Iraq 1990-?, Kuwait 1991, Somalia 1992-1994, Yugoslavia 1992-1994, Bosnia 1993-1995, Haiti 1994-1996, Croatia 1995, Zaire (Congo) 1996-1997, Liberia 1997, Sudan 1998, Afghanistan 1998, Iraq 1998-?, Yugoslavia 1999-?, Macedonia 2001, Afghanistan 2001-? And Iraq 2003 to the present time. Go here for more details. We have also established military bases in many of these countries. <![if !supportFootnotes]> [xii]<![endif]> The real objectives of the UN are apparent from the above list. As the great statesman, J. Reuben Clark Jr. once said: “The UN is a war-making, not a ‘peacekeeping,’ organization.” <![if !supportFootnotes]> [xiii]<![endif]>
The elite media educated populace questions why America has fallen into such disfavor among the citizens of other countries. We tend to be gullible, apathetic and prone to believe whatever we are told by the “brainwashington” gang. It is not United Nations planes, bombs and bullets that we use to annihilate populations and create abject despair for the survivors. It is American troops and munitions! We are unwelcome heavily armed trespassers, not valued liberators. We do the bidding of the United Nations, a group established by the power elite to theoretically perpetuate world peace and prevent the horrors of future wars.
Presently we are waging a profit producing war which was initially labeled as a pre-emptive defense against a sanction weakened Iraq. This Hitler style double-speak means that we aggressively bomb others in order to defend ourselves. After World War Two, in order to prevent any president from placing the armed forces under United Nations command or acting unilaterally, congress passed the United Nations Participation Act of 1945 which states that no United States armed forces may be used in peacekeeping operations without the specific approval of the exact terms of agreement by Congress. This act was recently modified by a presidential Executive Order #13224, opening a Pandora’s Box potentially leading to the dictatorial abuse of power. <![if !supportFootnotes]> [xiv]<![endif]>
Our current conflict was authorized by a Congressional resolution which arbitrarily empowered the president “to use force to bring about peace.” <![if !supportFootnotes]> [xv]<![endif]> Condoleezza Rice said that President George W. Bush “has reserved all of his options to use the full authority granted to him by the US Congress, in allowing him to use military force if necessary.” The US congress does not have the power to grant the president anything more than what the Constitution has already granted him.
“Kings had always been involving and impoverishing their people in wars, pretending generally, if not always, that the good of the people was the object. This, our Convention understood to be the most oppressive of all Kingly oppressions; and they resolved to so frame the Constitution that no one man should hold the power of bringing this oppression upon us.” Abraham Lincoln (Letter to William Herndon, 15 February 1848)
Ironically, peace and tranquility are allegedly the consequences of warfare. Under those criteria we could conceivably bomb any noncompliant country. <![if !supportFootnotes]> [xvi]<![endif]> Thousands may then be killed on both sides without congressional or presidential culpability which is advantageous during elections – they bicker and blame each other. The UN must also approve. While George W. Bush, along with other likeminded cohorts, Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell, was loudly proclaiming, for total media benefit, that the U.S. does not require the permission of the United Nations to use military force in Iraq, the Security Council of the United Nations had already provided Resolution 1373 on 28 Sept 2001 to accommodate assaults against any nation deemed a terrorist. <![if !supportFootnotes]> [xvii]<![endif]> Because they provide an official resolution they control the incident. They can order a ceasefire or initiate the battle arbitrarily as well as establish the rules of the contest.
It is highly significant that the UN and the CIA were created during the same time period. Working under the radar and without Congressional or Constitutional oversight, the CIA is the apparatus that surreptitiously serves the international banking cabal, multi national corporations and their globalist agenda. The UN and the CIA were never established to serve American interests; just the opposite is true. Most Americans have no idea exactly what devious, devilish activities the CIA has been engaged in and would undoubtedly be horrified to learn. They would also be surprised to discover the proceedings of the elite secret societies and covert councils whose members have alternative allegiances despite their public claims of devotion to God and country. These societies were founded by and include the money lenders and their minions.
